Our publications can help you with many of your Legal Advertising needs: Summons, Name Changes, Trustee Sales, Notice to Creditors, Punitive Damages, Petitions to Administer Estate, Withdrawals or Dissolutions of Partnership and Fictitious Business Name Statements (Also known as FBN, DBA or Doing Business As).

We’ll charge you a flat fee for the entire run unless otherwise specified below, publish the ad as many times as is legally required, submit your proof of publication to the county, and then send you back an affidavit once the process is complete. Please allow 6 to 8 weeks to receive your affidavit.

Each of our publications is capable of running different kinds of ads:

  • ALAMEDA COUNTY: The East Bay Express charges $75 for a Fictitious Business Name Statement, Change of Name, Divorce Notice, Notice of Adoption, Statement of Damage, Receivership Petition, Motor Vehicle Complaint and Notices of Application to Sell Alcoholic Beverages. Summons and Probate Notices are $75 per week. The deadline is Wednesday at 3pm for the following week’s paper.
  • MARIN COUNTY: The Pacific Sun charges $75 for a Fictitious Business Name or Abandonment of Fictitious Business Name. Name Changes are $155. Trustee Sales are $75 per week. Punitive Damages are $200. Notice to Creditors are $100. Withdrawals of Partnership are $65. Dissolutions of Partnership are $75. General Summons are $340. Civil Summons or Family Law Summons are $315. Petitions to Administer Estate are $325. Deadline is Wednesday at 3pm for the following Wednesday’s paper.
  • SAN BENITO COUNTY: The Hollister Free Lance charges $89 for a Fictitious Business Name.
  • SANTA CLARA COUNTY: We have several publications in Santa Clara County.
    • The Gilroy Dispatch costs $72 for a Fictitious Business Name.
    • Metro Silicon Valley charges $75 for a Fictitious Business Name. Name changes are $200 for a four-week run. Petition to Administer Estate is $450 for a four-week run. Summons are $600 for a four-week run. The deadline is Friday at 5pm.
    • The Morgan Hill Times costs $72.
  • SANTA CRUZ COUNTY: The Pajaronian charges $60 for a Fictitious Business Name. Changes of Name are $90. Notice of Petition to Administer Estate is $120. Summons are $500. Deadlines are 4:30pm on Tuesday for publication on Friday of the same week.
  • SONOMA COUNTY: The Pacific Sun charges $75 for a Fictitious Business Name or Abandonment of Fictitious Business Name. Name Changes are $155. Trustee Sales are $75 per week.
